Q: I am very perplexed regarding the event that will took place December 21/2012 upon this planet. This is the Dooms day will occurred. Need your comment on this subject matter. I do believe in the bible, but how to people come up with this kind of world event? Is the bible true or not? SC Yamuning, Guam A: Many predictions have been made of a 'Dooms Day' for thousands of years. The dates are gone and the planet is still here. Predictions will still come that are not Spiritually prophetic or true. When you read the bible there are still things that need to happen before that day comes. I.E. The gospel preached to every nation, the rapture and more. Some people do this for attention, scare tactics or they mean well, but are not led by the Spirit of God. Although we should be ready to be with God and His people for an eternity and welcome the event, It is enough to be satisfied with the love of God here on earth while we are here on this planet and share the love of God with others until the Lord comes back for His people. A: We do not feel water baptism is necessary for baptism. An example is in Luke 23:43 when Jesus spoke to the repentant thief that was being crucified with Him; "Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise" Baptism is an outward showing of an inward conviction and an acceptable thing to do. Like the Sabbath, it is made for our benefit and is symbolic for a new life. Q: The bible said seek ye first the kingdom of God. What is the Kingdom of God? Where does the Bible say that if a person commits suicide they will go to hell or there is no forgiveness available if you commit suicide? If they pray for forgiveness before they kill themselves isn't it up to GOD what happens to their soul at that point? Thank you for any Light you can shed on this matter. RS A: There is no verse that says a person that commits suicide will go to hell or an unavailability of unforgiveness. (This question is similar to "If a person is 'good' all their life and mess up at the last minute before death, will they go to hell?") I know what you've shared is true putting a CD on is most effective day and night; keeping the WORD of GOD flowing is vital to a peace of mind! Faith that pleases GOD is when we actually do the WORD of GOD. Resist the devil and he will flee draw nigh to GOD... RB A: Well said. People contact the dead through the workings of Satan. As God's family, we are not to associate with people who are sorcerers, witches, use horoscope etc. They are a bad self-seeking source when we have God to get wisdom and knowledge from (James 1:14). Many have done this out of curiosity or ignorance. In the bible, we see Saul used this when God was not in fellowship with him: 1 Samuel 28:7-18 Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor. Q: hey im in need of serious help. The other month (about 2 months ago) i sorts made contact with the dead. Now all of a sudden just now (2 months later) im seeing this ghost i saw in my dreams, like hes haunting me at first it was okay cuz he didnt do anything but now hes killing me over and over in my dreams. I wake up sweating in fear of someone watching me,beside my bed. I am a man of faith and ive prayed for it to stop and it has stoped lil by lil.. but i need to know is this ghost mad at me or os he playing around or what? Ive tried contacting this ghost again but it hast worked yet..as i type now i feel him watching me..anyone help P.S. im not afraid of him so if its fear hes lookin for he wont find much of it in me..and i dont think hes a demon or anything so dont trip out on me..i just wana know what he wants. w.k. A: In real situations, keep your patience by calling out the name of Jesus. You don't need to invite him by contacting him Also try going to sleep with some good praise and worship music. Evil spirits wont hang around much for that. When you feel the presence of a bad spirit around keep in mind the scripture 'whatsoever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven' (Matthew 16:19). Start praying against all murdering, adulterous, cancer spirits etc. that haunt any of the body of Christ and give him a taste of his own medicine. |

PS A: This comes from Matthew 1:17 "So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations." There were 14 (a total of 42) generations in each period Q: How do you seek deliverance from being opressed by the devil? Does that indicate that you have sin in your life or does it indicate that you lack knowledge or truth to be delivered? Deliverance comes from the Word of God, by the practice of applying the promises of peace and freedom (or opposite of what the enemy speaks to you) for starters. I.E; "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you." Isaiah 26:3 "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30 "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:26, 27 Look at the promises of God and if a thought comes to you different then what you have read in the Word, follow this verse: "Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)" 2 Corinthians 10:5 Amplified bible Sin in your thought life (meditating on what the enemy says; with symptoms of worry, fear, depression etc) may cause oppression, but either a lack of knowledge of the truth may keep a person in this type of bondage until that truth is received and applied to your thought life. Of course, secular music or media with worldly agendas and ungodly acquaintances are often contributors. In short, whatever unfruitful item your mind may gravitate repeatedly, find a scripture that is opposite and repeat it internally and post it on your wall or computer.
